Hear me, fellow adventurers! For I have been called to the lair of Proteus! Where the great Sock Witch resides! And she told me! That SteveO the Destroyer is Eeeeeeevillllll….. For in his “clever” ploy to meld two balls he in fact unleashed the power of one of them! Do YOU know why Riverdale Park Station closed the bike trail detour suddenly and without notice?!? The Sock Witch told me that it was the latent energy of the destroyed ball set loose upon the world! Where it had nothing else to do but create havoc! And give me shingles! Oh waily waily, such an evil thing that has been done!

But fear not! Nature abhors a void, and the great Sock Witch has reined in the power of the destroyed Calvin Ball to create a new ball! The BALL OF DESTINY!!!

Doh! I rode past that this am! What are the chances it will be there on the home lap?

Hey, Tim the Enchanter, keeper of the score, final arbiter of the rules, Calvin ball does not have to end in the spring.

If it does continue we might want to hold off on the melty stuff.
