If I had brought a 3rd pair of dry gloves I might have gone to New District but we were drenched!

Also, Sarah failed to make a BEE-line to the Phoenixball, and it seems Mr. Happy beat her to it.

I am still deeply offended by having the Phoenixball stolen from under my cream-puffed nose. Also offensive was your victory dance. Tim the Enchanter take note- SteveO’s dance was so offensive it almost caused a #metoo moment!

CBGAnimal, I know why you’re Tim the Enchanter’s favorite. You’re my favorite too!!!

ParticipantI can also vouch that Steve O’s victory dance was both ugly and offensive. I made him do it.
Here’s me nabbing the Phoenixball right off Sarah Bee’s bike.
And here’s me with all the swag.
Here’s a picture of dogs
And here’s Steve O reacting to the great swag

ParticipantWhichever ball I had is now out there:
There once was a boy who upon a ball lucked
And left it by a bridge Aqueduct
Someone find it fast
I don’t think it will last
If not our game is most certainly …The ball itself:
The view in the opposite direction:
My delusion of points earned and lost:
10 (new base for find)
+7 (a bawdy limerick)
+10 (across state lines, from VA to elsewhere)
+ 5 (new consumable swag)
-0 (Tarantallegra Spell was not yet in effect when I obtained the ball)
-10 (5*-2 for delay of game, assuming ball is found before ~10pm tomorrow, could potentially increase depending on when the ball is found)
= 22 pointsMiscellaneous notes: I have consumed the found swag, but it was not on premise. Also, I’m casting the spell of the Warlock Judd on CBGanimal, which I’ve charged over the course of 5 laps (see Strava activity #1395493718), but without panniers, so only -15 points to her.
New ordinance: This is a new spell, Wingardium Leviosa. The way it works is that each time you’re hit with the curse of Judd, you can invoke it on one ride (to be started and finished within two days of the cursing), and every 200 feet one climbs gains one bonus point, and this is capped at 2 times the damage you’re hit with. E.g., CBGanimal will be taking a 15 point hit from my curse, and if she casts Wingardium Leviosa and does a ride with 1183 feet of elevation gain in the next two days, she will receive 5 points. The bonus would max out if she climbed 6000 feet in one ride (15 * 2 * 200), and would result in the damage being nullified (plus a bonus equal to the original damage).

ParticipantCleverly hidden Calvinball “Fireball”
With several Pilgrims kneeling at the altar but no one yet claiming the Fireball

ParticipantFireball was last seen on the altar of some demented bicycle cult
Nilvacball is hidden on a roman acquaduct
Phoenixball was stolen by SteveO from the evil SarahbeeI am nixing my Hidden in Plain Sight ordinance. I think it had a bit too much eye-of-newt in it. I have a replacement spell in mind that should achieve similar evilness.
EMM
10 Points for the find without delay
15 Points for first find
10 points for the dog picture
3 Points for crossing the frontier of provinces
-2 No Dance (blame SteveO)
EMM is awarded 36 pointsCGBanimal found the Phoenixball under a dumpling
10 Points for the find without delay
Says she crossed the frontier of provinces. 3 points
SteveO vouched for the dance. 4 Points.
CGBanimal is awarded 17 pointsPlease tell me the score that you are under the delusion you have earned (plain english translation: just make clear what points you are claiming – like if you include swag, tell me – other wise I have no way of knowing – if you want to do a full accounting like Josh did, that’s great!)
Codified canon and score are maintained in the library of the first page of the thread.

ParticipantMr. Happy has transferred the Phoenixball to me. He cannot make brownies with his little, bitty hands.
A new Phoenixball! A flamingo.
The flamingo is guarding these home-made brownies.
If you like the flamingo and you like brownies, you should click “like” below.

ParticipantOn the C-ball can you draw a bead?
Ride slowly or go with some speed
I think it is true
You don’t need a clue
A picture is all that you need!
Ordinance: If Calvinball ist found in or neare an establishment of foode or drinke, one may consume said proprietor’s goods (photo documented) and be awarded thy same pointes as consumeth of swag. No duple dipping, however. Awardeth of 10 points shall be the maximum for swag/locality consumption.

Fake news!! It was Mr. Happy who found the Phoenixball and stole it off Sarah Bee’s bike. I would never, ever do such a thing to my dear friend.

I claim points for swag–I included kind bars and a reflective Po Campo pin, which I stole back from Steve O and gave to it’s rightful owner, SarahBee.
