Boundary Channel work starting

This could impact those of us who take the lane between Long Bridge Drive and the bridge to the LBJ grove. Not sure if the sidepath will remain open.

VDOT spokesperson says the impact to “locals should be ‘minimal.'” I wonder if VDOT includes more than motorists in the curious locution “locals.”

Three-four days per week this is my commute route, so I’ll have a front row seat. The intersection of the ramps with Long Bridge Drive is a shitshow, so this will is a long overdue and welcome change. Not to mention completion of the “missing link” trail to the south end of the Humpback.
