ParticipantYour ride or Pete’s, decision, decisions. We’ll see what it is doing in the morning.

ParticipantI’m delaying the start of todays ride until 11am for safety reasons…the hills can be tricky in the rain with braking and traction. And I’m concerned about encountering motor vehicles on some segments. AccuWeather.com says the rain will stop at 11am.
Everyone is welcomed to join me at Cafe Kindred on Lee Highway in Falls Church for pre-ride coffee at 10 AM.

Pete’s Bikenetics rides are awesome, and he is a model ride leader. He also starts earlier than I can, so you might be able to do both if you time it right.

Let’s reconnect once we are both across the pond. I would love to go for a euro – century ride together sometime. And I’d be happy to host you for a ride through Wales once the rains stop and the sun shines[emoji274]

Does that ever happen in Wales?

ParticipantBoth of you start planning for a South American BAFS 2017 vacation. I can promise excellent weather (summer, actually), wonderful food and good booze.

ParticipantDon’t tax your delicate system. Ride less.
Why not take this Monday off, to recuperate from all that climbing.
We worry about your well-being…

ParticipantBeing seen with Boomer (aka Boomie?) causes negative repercussions to my delicate sensibilities. Or something like that. I am just hurt he doesn’t invite me to drink beer (of course, also purchasing it for me, just cuz…).

You have to have a cute, bumblebee avatar to call him Boomie. Yours is pretty cute, PP, but not quite cute enough.
Also, I hear you were ill. Probably a good idea for you to rest easy until you are certain you are completely well. Sometime in March seems advisable.January 13, 2016 at 5:34 am #1045013Powerful Pete
ParticipantI see what you did there SteveO. When is our first snow-commute date?
