ParticipantYep, I can take 3 additional people but only 1 additional bike.
Also, I need to leave Marshall around 4:00. That shouldn’t be a problem since we’re starting at 9:30, but if you think the ride will be longer I’ll need to bow out.

Excellent @reji: can you perhaps give @Kitty and her bike a lift? She is located in Rosslyn, FYI, and needs to get back by early afternoon.
Finishing the ride before 4PM is easy. If you ride like a beast and skip the rest stops, then the ride could be over be over by 12noon!:-0

ParticipantRide Conditions Update:
I just checked VDOT road and local weather forecast for tomorrow’s ride.
The planned route is open with no advisories, though the descent from Mt Weather (VA-601) is advised at 40-60% of the posted speed limit. http://www.511virginia.org/
Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny with temps in the low 40s, and winds 5-7 mph (easy peasy!
. However, it is forecasted to freeze tonight in the high elevations around Mt Weather. https://www.localconditions.com/weather-bluemont-virginia/20135/
So I plan to do the route COUNTER clockwise, which will put us in the low elevation rollers from Marshal to Bluemont in the early morning, and give the VA-601 descent into Paris time to thaw and dry out before we get to Mt Weather.
All systems go!!
