You know what’s awesome about it being on Monday…that means you can come up to the Arlington Bicycle Advisory Committee meeting in Courthouse after handing out lights!

Court House Plaza, 2100 Clarendon Blvd. 3rd floor

I can help out on Thursday. Thursday is a day off for me, and I have a bike trailer, so I can help with any setup/teardown work as well.

I won’t be able to take part next week. I’m working both evenings.

If you haven’t volunteered with BikeArlington before, this is a GREAT way to help out! It is fun and makes a HUGE difference to the community.

Let me be the first to say, “Thank you!” for those passing out blinky lights, reflectives and good cheer.

It was good to meet a few of you from the forum there, including dbb, OneEight and Henry. (Henry, I still don’t know how many posts it takes to lose the pesky ‘Junior Member’ under my name. Apparently 38 posts is not enough! :p)

Hey all!
Just wanted to let you know that we are rescheduling the Lights for Bikes that was scheduled for Thursday, November 6th at Columbia Pike and the W&OD Trail due to rain and its unfortunate effects on bike numbers and volunteer morale.

We will be rescheduling to the following Thursday, November 13 from 5pm-7pm at Columbia Pike and the W&OD Trail.

There was an amazing show of forum volunteers Monday, so thank you all. Let me know if we’ll see you next Thursday, too!
