Whats the process if you signed up, but got laid off from your job between then and the actual day? Can I still ride to the stop and get my free tshirt? :)

Jabbs, you get bonus points for riding anyways.. and a t-shirt. :D

Great PSA for BtW Day. I’ll out there scaring the public with a huge dumb bike.

I signed up – going to meet a coworker at the Ballston pit stop. Looking forward to it – finally a year with no rain!!!

I need to plan the rest of my year…. Can someone tell me when Bike home from work day is??????

Just kidding. See y’all on the trail tomorrow. It was cool to see so many people out this week… making it Bike to work Week!

    Keep up the good work.

Just got back from the Conte’s Pit Stop in Ballston. I was there when it opened and it was pretty light traffic-wise, but by the time I left it was picking up quite a bit. I actually won a raffle there – got some nice SmartWool socks out of it.

I think traffic on the W&OD/Custs tripled this morning – it was awesome to see! Even Fairfax Drive had a steady flow while I was on it.

Actually I answered my own question. All the people who store their bikes in the bike room at work for the winter ride them home yesterday so they can ride them back on Bike to Work day. So…. Yesterday was bike home from work day. We’ll see them again next year. ;)

I was really impressed with the increased traffic all week on the W&OD and Custis. There were lots more people on the trail before 0600 than I usually see.

Looks like a big success and finally perfect weather.

Great photo. Would it be OK if I posted this picture and caption on CommuterPageBlog?

Great pic Dirt – this is impressive! At the agency I work for, our bikes locked to bke racks in the garage doubled on Friday, from 1 to 2!! Rather embarrasing.

@Joe: No problem. That is the EPA Bike room in the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC.

@Skreamin’: Thanks. I’m very fortunate to be able to use EPA’s bike facility and GSA’s showers.
