    Aww that sux. I know that feeling firsthand. There needs to be a special place in hell for thieves.

    Sorry to hear the news, Tantrix, that’s disappointing. If the bike was stolen from the racks near the Metro entrance, and if you haven’t already, please file a report with Metro Transit Police – 202-962-2121. It may not get your bike back, but it’s important for us to track thefts so we can best plan for more secure bike parking in the future. Thanks,

    Would be useful if you could post a picture.

    Mind if I ask how you had it locked up? Am always looking for ways to protect my bike.

    Yes, a picture would help. Terrible, so very sorry. Especially a vintage bike.
