Bike fitting – do I need to tip?

The guy just sell me a clipless pedals for $70. He didnt do anything. I bought it anyway

I know who you are talking about (he did my fitting). No reason to tip. He basically works as an independent contractor and sets his own rates. He is always busy (does great fittings too).
