ParticipantThat is an awesome picture worthy of a frame.
Btw, something I did with all my munchkins art work was to stick them in various books on the bookshelves. It is such a treat to open up an old book to read and find one of the kid’s pictures on a random page. It will be an even better treat when they inherit the books and their kids find them. Don’t forget to date them!March 15, 2013 at 12:47 am #964749mstone
Participantmy first grader did a nice one of us biking/camping on the C&O. it’s good reassurance that they’re really having a good time.

ParticipantEverything my kid draws is from Angry Birds. Or y’know, it’s planets and stars stuff.

ParticipantAs an ex Art professor I must say your kids are better than half the grad students I taught for ten years! Since I have no children (yet), I will share a poster my wife made for me which hangs in my office, it gets me riding most days!

Yes! All can get out of mine is “Daddy! Bike!” although I love the fact that she takes the time to point out to me EVERY bicycle she sees.

ParticipantLast year when one of the big races was going on, my daughter pointed at the TV and said “Daddy!”
Now, it wasn’t really that far off of a comparison. It was one of the time trials and they were wearing those silly helmets, and I believe it was Andy Schleck riding at that particular moment.

ParticipantThe other morning my daughter put on leggings, capri pants, and socks which she pulled over the leggings. I briefly wondered why she was dressing so weirdly, and then realized she was trying to copy my commuter getup.

ParticipantOne morning, when my husband was getting ready to go for a training ride, my daughter came upstairs wearing a bunch of his race stuff (jersey, arm warmers on her legs, hat). Then I realized that arm warmers make great leg warmers when she goes to ballet class. Score.

See when they get older it is not as cute. My twelve year-old did the same thing, but it was Animal Planet: Endangered Hippos.
