ParticipantIf you don’t want to go to Murland, then join the Team Crazy Eights Beerneuring ride. You get to have beer and have time to get to the movie.

Details on movie tickets: I purchased 6 extra tix at the staff discount rate of $12 per ticket. First ones to reply to this thread RSVPing will have dibs on these tix. On Sunday, please have exact change for your ticket. For everyone else, I would recommend buying your tix online since this will likely be a sold out showing. You can select the buy tix option by going to the website http://si.edu/Imax/movie/1325. Make sure you select the 5:15pm showing at Lockheed IMAX theater. If there is overwhelming response to this thread by 5pm, I will try to run over to the box office today and see if I can get some more discount tix. Thanks!!!!!!

ParticipantOn the way to the ride there was a train blocking the trail. Here’s a picture of Komorebi trying to look up alternative directions right before I said, “Put your phone away. We are throwing our bikes over this train and crawling under it.”

Appropriate for this and Judd’s post (emphasis added at the end) …
Charlie: Excuse me, Lieutenant. Is there something wrong?
Maverick: Yes ma’am, the data on the MiG is inaccurate.
Charlie: How’s that, Lieutenant?
Maverick: Well, I just happened to see a MiG 28 do a…
Goose: We!
Maverick: Uh, sorry Goose. WE happened to see a MiG 28 do a 4G negative dive.
Charlie: Where did you see this?
Maverick: Uh, that’s classified.
Charlie: It’s what?
Maverick: It’s classified. I could tell you, but then I’d have to kill you.
Charlie: So, lieutenant, where exactly were you?
Maverick: Well, WE…
Goose: Thank you.
Maverick: Started up on his six, when he pulled in through the clouds, and then I moved in above him.
Charlie: Well, if you were directly above him, how could you see him?
Maverick: Because I was inverted.March 7, 2017 at 2:46 pm #1067444chuxtr

ParticipantKomorebi and Judd, thanks again for throwing together another enjoyable ride. Bummed I couldn’t finish with y’all. I’m impressed with the research and knowledge you dropped.

Glad that you could make it for most of the ride and that we got to meet Jo Jo. I have to admit that that the only credit I can take for this one is providing the branding and already having knowledge about one of the stops. Sarah Bee instigated and is now an official co-conspirator of the Bicycle Fun Club (with all the rights and responsibilities that come with). Komorebi did all of the route planning.
