Hmm. How about we meet in Shirlington… Say 8-ish? (Mike’s opens at 8:30 on holidays right?)

But I am flexible on time/location, so if you guys want to leave earlier/later or meet elsewhere… Have bike, will travel for pancakes.

I’m in. Meet you at Mike’s at 8:30-ish.

I know it’s ~20-ish miles, but was wondering how long you expect the ride to take with all the different stops? I’m trying to figure out if I can make this work given family stuff on Monday. Thanx!

Is that so? I’ll likely come solo from Rosslyn, and if I don’t have to get there until 8:30 it sounds like I’ll have more time to get underway than expected. (WB Custis works better with coffee)

I predict that the ride would likely be wrapped up by 1:30. You can always peel off from the group if you had to leave earlier, though.

Of course, this is a completely moot point if Judd has prepared 20 minute lectures at each stop ;)

That was my primary concern. :D

I’m thinking 3.5 hours maybe. Still tinkering with the route and stops. We won’t judge you if you have to drop off early. The front half will be mostly in DC so you won’t be far from home.

I’m going to try to do a test ride on Saturday or Sunday. If I can I’ll post a better time estimate.

I’m trying to keep it to five minutes per stop. Group middle finger picture at the Trump Hotel may take longer.

F@UCK YEAH. As long as it takes. On my walk home the other day the presidential helicopter flew low over me near the Washington monument. I have the helo a double barreled middle finger salute.

I might metro to pancakes in Falls Church and then ride into the city for the presidents fun ride. Looking foward to both!!

Dang. I misread this. I thought we were meeting in some easy-to-get-to DC Starbucks. When will the ride cross-over into DC for us Arlington-challenged riders?

Whew! I’m glad I checked on this post. I thought we were meeting somewhere in DC also. Not sure why I thought that, but I did.

That’ll require a bit of extra time in the morning, but at least I know where I’m going.
