Bicycle Fun Club: Lotuses and Water Lilies – Sunday July 15th

It was so much fun last year that I’m going to host another group ride up the Anacostia River Trail to the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens to enjoy the lilies and lotuses. Pace will probably be 13ish. I will likely try to get some grilled cheese at Bluejacket on the way back. I’ll have a Virginia meetup at Whole Foods with a pitstop in DC at Philz to gather those not fortunate enough to live in the Commonwealth.

The aquatic gardens have real bike racks now that were just installed a few months ago. Bring a lock.

VA Meetup: Whole Foods Market, 520 12th St S Ste 100, Arlington, VA 22202
VA rollout Time: 9 a.m. (I’ll be there around 8:30 to eat breakfast)
DC Meetup: Philz Coffee, 1331 4th St SE #101, Washington, DC 20003
DC rollout: 9:40 a.m.

Komorebi was super excited to be taking hundreds of photos with her new camera.

The new bike racks have a sweet lotus design. Big improvement to bike parking thanks to the work of the Friends of Kenilworth Gardens.
