Bicycle Fun Club – Lotus Ride – July 7th

Count me in–this is my neighborhood and my default weekend ride (though I usually extend it a bit).

Too funny. I was telling someone recently that I needed to go check these out soon. I’ll be there with a +1.

Contemplating it, and should know by Friday afternoon if I can make it.
Haven’t been there in several years; used to go yearly with all my camera gear and spend the whole morning photographing the amazing flowers…

Hey right in my hood! I’ll probably drop in for this even if I’m already going to the Gardens on Wednesday to check the flowers out and I’ve (unfortunately) been to Daily Rider too many times in the past few weeks with bike issues.

This is probably the shortest ride that I’ve ever led. I’ve giving a short ride with lots of social time a try. Looking forward to seeing you!

UPDATE: As an extra special bonus, a board member from the Friends of the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens will be joining us to provide some bonus content once we arrive.

Thanks, Judd! The red one was shot on my first-ever visit to the gardens — I remember thinking how lucky I was to find any remaining dew in the growing heat! — But later I saw another photographer with a squirt bottle, spritzing the blooms before photographing them close-up

Haha! My long ride usually ends at Vigilante in Hyattsville but I sometimes stretch it a bit more. Social time sounds good!
