I have an event on Saturday, but if I can get out of bed in time, I may come meet you guys at the lockhouse and ride back with you. Unless the weather is fabulous. Then I may meet you at Riley’s lock and wave as you ride past then go mountain biking!

Regrets for this year. And I was hoping to improve my performance of last in to the lockhouse. Yeah, no rain would be helpful. See what you can do about that.

I totes would’ve joined you if not for the out-of-town guests we are hosting. Have fun!

It was so much fun last year that, we’re doing it again! I have reserved Lockhouse 25 on the C&O canal for Saturday, June 1st. I’m offering an open invite for anyone who wants to join.

I’m volunteering at the Armed Forces Cycling Classic in the morning, but like Sunyata, perhaps I can ride out and meet at the lockhouse.

I’m going to a Crossword puzzle tournament (for beginners and everyone) that day , June 1. But could possibly bike out later that day, if Steve O and/or Sunyata want to ride together . Will follow along and see if that works out. Thanks Judd!

Dang, I’m going to be out of town. Once again, no cold beer delivery by kayak.

City biker here – what’s the trail like going out there? Is it manageable on 700×32 tires on a Giant Escape hybrid bike?

32s work great on the canal and is what I’ll be on. There’s a few bumps and potholes along the way.

I rode 28s all the way to Pittsburgh. You’ll be fine.

If it’s rained recently there are some puddles to navigate.

Sarah and I are doing the same thing for AFCC. Perhaps we can coordinate the ride out afterwards?
