ParticipantThere were a bunch of asshats out on the roads and trails today. Riding fancy carbon bikes and wearing black kits, passing people with impunity.

It’s every commute for me. Except when I wear my pink kit because it’s Giro time.

ParticipantI made sure to break with my tradition and wear all black on the way home so I could also ride with impunity. It was pretty awesome.

ParticipantHere we go again. The finally-warm weather brings *everyone* out- including the a–h—-.
Megabeth reported a truly scary moment with an a–h— motorist at Hains Point today just for good measure.
(Yes, I’m muzzling my mouth… do I have permission to speak frankly?)

Good thing I grabbed my crabon bike out of the pile this morning to ride in.

ParticipantJust got my first carbon bike, usually wear black, and I’ve been known to pass unscathed, but luckily yesterday I took my steel bike. Phew! Wouldn’t want to get spoked.

ParticipantMy bike is made of mud. I think there is an aluminum frame under there somewhere but Huberww says its 99% mud. I wear tie dyes. And pretty much every else passes me with impiety.

I’ll look out for you, and if I pass you, I will be sure to do so with piety. The pass call will be: “Kyrie su Dominae, Donna e ist Requiem”. I will refrain from hitting myself on the head with a board, however.

I had a sandwich made with kosher turkey in my backpack this AM. The rye bread was from Trader Joe’s. I even got to pass some people, with all the newbs on the trails.
