Beulah Rd in Vienna VA

If anyone commutes via Beulah Rd in Vienna, note that the bridge going over the Toll Road aka 267 is closed (and has been since Tuesday) due to a truck hitting the bridge …. it is unclear when it will reopen and Supervisor Hudgins has asked VDOT to replace the bridge vs. fix it. Hope they put bike lanes on it…..

Also…if anyone uses the CCT and used Beulah Rd as the detour due to construction near Difficult Run…that detour is effectively shut off due to this bridge being closed….

The new singletrack at Lake Fairfax Park will make a great detour route if it isn’t too wet out. I’m gonna go ride that this weekend. I’ll post up about it on Moonday.
