I was recently trying to follow the Bethesda Trolley Trail from Bethesda to Rockville (been trying different routes for getting up there). Wayfinding signage implied that it went to Rockville but I lost it around Montrose Shopping Crossing Center. (Or maybe a little closer to Parklawn Drive.)
Does it in fact go all of the way to Rockville? http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/dot-dte/Resources/Files/BTT_brochure_Map.pdf
I would humbly suggest more signage to help people stay on the trail.
That section from White Flint to Rockville on/near 355 is a total shit show. This route is only about a mile longer but actually faster (few lights) and much safer. It’s also kind of confusing and goes through neighborhoods so…good luck?

Oh, and you might also want to contact this guy. He not only does a great job as bike coordinator for the City of Rockville but rides from DC and might have some other options.
