It is really a ride that I should do because of some friends. The Century ride isn’t super interesting, but the last part of the ride is really fun.

I did it last year. Still have my daughter’s pictures on my helmet. $1,000 minimum fundraising is alot, but easier than it sounds like, especially with all your buddies here to help (thanks, everyone, for last year’s donations!) Route was okay, but no full century last year like they have now, just a 20 and a metric. Nice that they have a 100 this time. They roll out the red carpet for that thousand bucks – free massages, nice food, concert, etc. Best part was meeting a pair of buddies riding a tandem bike together. Made me feel really optimistic about my daughter’s future.

Thanks for your thoughts on it. I’m going to do the ride… I’m not going to do much of a push for fundraising. I hit the network really hard for TJROW and they delivered SPECTACULARLY!!! If Dr. Einstein decides to do that again next year, I don’t want to burn out my fundraising network. I’m just gonna pay up and hit a few corporate sponsors.
