ParticipantIt must be hard to go through life like you and Tim. That perspective is making me dizzy. Come back down to earth with us normals!

This would seem to require that we carry the entire book around with us at all times. Would a xeroxed page from the book be an acceptable substitute?
Note: There will be a new Hump Day Coffee Club at Best Buns in Shirlington beginning next week, and all cyclists mentioned in the book are cordially invited to attend the inaugural event (and those following it).

Any paper inserted into the book as a book mark will suffice.
Depending on work schedule, I’ll be at the new Wednesday FCC next week. Sounds like a great idea. I wonder if Wednesday is still Monkey Bread day.

ooh, finally a FCC (albeit a very confused FCC on a Wednesday) that is actually convenient to my normal commute route. what time is this HDCC?

I’m definitely looking forward to Wednesday/Friday Coffee Club this week. I should be there pretty early and will be there for a while. My guess is that I will be ready for some form of breakfast food… We’ll have been out late at a concert tonight. If I get enough done today, I’ll be riding a new incarnation of an old bike. Should be fun.
See y’all tomorrow!

ParticipantHurray for Hump Day! Looking forward to seeing you! Best Buns opens at 6 a.m., in case we have any real early birds. The people who work there are great, but a problem with the place is that there are just too many delicious breakfast foods to choose from. :p (We all seem to have different favorites.)
Best Buns is adjacent to the Carlyle restaurant (directly across from Cap City) and is owned by the same group. The Carlyle provides additional seating for Best Buns patrons via an inside door at the left. So if anyone doesn’t see us inside or outside of Best Buns (which is pretty small), just go through the glass door into the Carlyle.
Consider bringing your “Best Rides” book this time if you have one. (We could plan some rides, too.)

ParticipantI will be there with Carolyn, probably around 7:30. I am going to try and stop off and pick up the book on my way home today but work has been killing me so it depends on when I can jet out of here… Pete – I recall seeing mounds of Monkey Bread last Wednesday so I think you’re in luck!

Pastry porn might be illegal on this site…
I love that stuff.

The game isn’t to find places or things from the book… but people. The goal is to find the author and as many of the “You might Run Into” contributors as possible and get them to sign your book. If you don’t have your copy yet, I know that Bikenetic still has a stack of them…. though you might want to hurry… their stack is 3 books shorter than it was earlier today.
The game is on! Come and find us!!!!!

I’ve already gotten one of the harder-to-find people to sign mine.
