BAFS2021 Team #23

Happy New Year Team 23,

My name is Iain Gold and I’m Team 23 Capitan. This is my fifth year participating in FS. I’m a daily commuter (pre-covid) from Silver Spring/Chevy Chase/Bethesda area in Montgomery County, Maryland and FS got me commuting year around. I still try to log my 30 mile daily round trip commute during my work-from-home pandemic status. I’ll post next steps and our team Strava Club closer to the team assignment Happy Hour on the 7th.

Hi All! I’m Danny and I live in NE DC – glad to see I got placed on a team even though I registered late, after only learning about this on 12/26! Anyhow my commute at the moment is just to my kitchen table, but I still managed to knock out 7 century rides in the last 6 months, and overall more than 400 miles /month for 2020. I also help run DC Bike Party – I pull the sound trailer, when we’re doing that. I also pull my 3 year old in a trailer when the whether permits on weekends.

ANYHOW – glad to be in Team 23 the with ya! I just went through syncing my Strava aacount, and I see my name showing in the participants list, but it does not show the sorry single ride I got in so far this week. I’m not sure if there’s a lag in the data, or a technical issue I still need to resolve.

Josh what exactly are you pulling off? This team will beat the odds and win the game . But maybe not today since Madrid got 2 feet of snow MOST EVER. The last time it snowed in 1971 when they got 5 inches!! Today will be fun
