I can’t tell you about 2019, but I was the top coffee rider in 2018. I think I had about 74 days ridden with coffee.

Congratulations consularider! I see in the link to 2018 that u did most of those in Germany. I’m headed to Düsseldorf on Tuesday for a week . Maybe I can practice…any recommendations? PM me if you think this has limited interest to the group. But I can’t see why — everyone wants to know Coffee destinations around the world! ☕️[emoji481]☕️[emoji3051]☕️

I mean… seems like this was WhatsHisName’s point about allowing retired foreigners hijack the game. Seems like an unfair advantage to be able to cycle to every swiss chalet and beer hall. Next think you know – with its massive density of coffee shops – we’ll be allowing New Yorkers to just bike down the block and get coffee!! :p

Well, Brooklyn is at least six miles away.
Come join us tomorrow for the NoVa Chris Trifecta at Kos Kaffe in Park Slope. We’ll be riding some Prospect Park laps first. Of course that would imply a social coffee meetup.

In my three years in Frankfurt I didn’t make it that far up the Rhine. Most of my stops were at neighborhood bakeries and I would have a Kaffe Crème and try to find a qualifying pastry for either the doughnut or pastry pointless prizes. Enjoy the trip!

I won in 2019, I tied with Josh A. for 112 coffees, the tiebreaker was the person who rode the least miles to drink the most coffee and that was me!

ParticipantNo DMV Coffe Rides in 2020 for me (yet) , but it doesn’t matter since I am ineleigble anyway.
I do have 9 of 9 days covered in out-of-bounds Coffee Rides in three states (4 in MI, 2 in OH, 2 in PA).

ParticipantI know there’s a tiebreaker to determine who’s supposed to win, but I decided that this year it will end in a tie between:
Filipe, Team 12 Reston Rolls – 656 coffee miles
Matt, Team 1 Eisenlaufmaschinen – 446 coffee milesBoth Filipe and Matt did 26 coffee rides. If I applied the tiebreaker rules (fewest miles ridden), Matt would win.
Decided that I’m going to do something different this year for the prize. Both Filipe and Matt get to do a coffee ride (or meet up) with me and I will treat to coffee and a sweet treat.

Pikers! But congratulations! I only had 5 qualifying DMV coffee rides out of 71 total.
