Backyard Boogie Century/racing

This year, we are hosting our 2nd Annual three-day event called the GII Backyard Boogie from August 11-13, 2023. This event aims to broaden the reach of cycling beyond our neighborhoods through education, fun activities, fellowship, cycling rides between 22 and 100-miles, and bringing racing to those less familiar with all that cycling can offer. We are able to reach people of all ages, backgrounds, and cycling abilities through this fun, interactive event.

For the 2023 event, we are adding more activities for children such as a children’s
cycling clinic and kid’s ride on Friday and a family fun ride on Saturday. In addition to that, we will continue with our Sunday activities such as our under 8-year-old kid’s race and junior’s races for kids between the ages 9- 18 years old.
