In the 2nd “Back to the Future” movie, Marty McFly traveled forward in time to October 21, 2015, 4:29 pm Pacific Time (7:29 pm Eastern). So today is unofficially “Back to the Future Day.” Or in some cases, it is officially BTTF Day.

Reston has been temporarily renamed Hill Valley for the duration of the Washington West Film Festival. Tonight, the festival will show the entire Back to the Future trilogy. On Sunday, they will screen the first movie. Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown), Claudia Wells (Jennifer, Marty’s girlfriend) and co-writer/co-producer Bob Gale will be in attendance. (That event is sold out.)
