There was a very hostile turtle on the side of the CCT this morning too. He was not happy.

I had a ferociously hissing goose recently.

Snapping turtle? I’ve seen those on trails.

I think it was a normal turtle. He was just chillin’ on the side of the trail waiting patiently to cross. If he was out in the trail, I would have stopped and carried him across myself, but he seemed to not be in much of a hurry.

I almost ran over a bunny this morning. The event shocked me HORRIBLY. I’m a frail vegetarian… I don’t even know what I would have done if I hit that rabbit….

In the springtime/early summer there are LOTS of bunny rabbits running about then they all seem to disappear at once. Anybody know where they all go? A co-worker of mine insists they are eaten by predators but I am doubtful so many would be eaten so suddenly every year (and if that’s the case, why aren’t all the squirrels devoured too?).

    Where do the bunnies go?

My back yard? They never seem to disappear from there.

The Suicidal Bunnies are one of my favorite parts of early morning commuting. Wakes me up faster than coffee.

Little-known fact: Rabbits are the deadliest mammals in the Northern Hemisphere. Here’s the incontrovertible proof:

It’s a sad day when the bunnies choose Metro over a MUP…

So obviously we need to fight back. Arm yourselves.
