FMR downstream of Geo Mason is in pretty good shape. This is the part that doesn’t have big problems.

The trail behind the Apex (by the Giant) has ponding due to their storm drains not working. This may cause damage to the new trail over time.

About 6 inches of water under Mount Vernon on the FMR trail.

Two of the fords on 4MRT have water flowing over them and have since at least last Thursday. The one under Columbia Pike and the one two upstream from there (not the one that usually floods in high water – that one is dry). Since the stream is low, this must be due to blockages at each. The upstream one has stones placed along one edge that walkers are using.

Within the last week or 10 days, the speed limit on the entire Hains Point hamster course has been lowered to 15 MPH, even the part on Buckeye Drive. The signs are quite small, and many car drivers (peloton bikers too ;)) seem to be ignoring them.
