This device should be useful for navigation. It may have been discontinued 14 years ago and it didn’t have GPS or broadband Internet capability or a hard drive. But people figured out a way to hack the devices and make it more useful. Perhaps it could be used to browse to Google Maps and its route finding feature.

This would allow a future user to avoid the Robocops of Arlington who were guarding the Air Force Association Cycling Classic with high-speed rotating blade devices, nuclear-tipped land mines (on loan from the Department of Defense) and experimental rail gun devices (connected through port openings near the top of 1812 North Moore Street). I could see how someone might think that the Robocop Defense Forces were somewhat excessive this year. It was totally uncalled for to use the land mines.
