I second everything Mark said. :-) Especially the part about Alan Howze, who’s great.

Again, PLEASE VOTE!!! The last Arlington election, which was to fill a vacate Arlington School Board seat, was decided I believe by 42 votes. Bike over to Kenmore on Saturday and vote, and then bike over to Phoenix Bikes and volunteer with me on the Saturday bike ride (contact me if you want to do that)!

It’s worth pointing out that you have to make a probably-not-legally-binding* agreement to vote the Democratic ticket in the general election to vote in this caucus. So, it’s a matter of honor, at least, if your political preferences lean Green, Libertarian, or Republican (or other).

Just a reminder that there’s voting tonight at Key, if you were planning to do that.

If you haven’t voted yet and would like to, please remember that the polls at Kenmore Middle School on S. Carlin Springs Rd. are open until 7 pm tonight. There were a lot of people voting when I was there around 1 pm, but it was very well organized and they were moving people through quickly.

Update: Alan Howze is the Democratic nominee for the Arlington County Board seat with 52% of the vote. :-)
