ParticipantI tried to use Strava on my watch for a sleaze ride and it wouldn’t connect at all. Had to delete and reinstall it. Now it seems to work, but I haven;t tried to save and sync a ride since then.

ParticipantHmmm… thanks! You deleted the app from your phone or watch?

Is anyone else having (or had) issues with their Apple Watch syncing w Strava? Mine inexplicably started just after I returned from Christmas travels. Some rides automatically sync, but most remain on my watch & do not sync. Sometimes I can force a sync & sometimes I cannot. Any suggestions?
The troubleshooting suggestions online (namely, shutting off the devices & turning them back on, or even worse, repairing my phone-which looses my ride!) don’t seem to work.

I heard this was because you leave all your apps open all the time. [emoji39]

ParticipantI’ve had issues too lately where Strava will occasionally records negative miles for runs and rides. For example, if I go on a 3 mile run, at the end it will say that I ran -3.0 miles.

Oh yikes!!! This is even worse than not recording at all!!! Stealing miles?! That’s just plain nasty!

ParticipantDC Rainmaker has a deep dive into the new, native Strava app for the Apple Watch. It sort of made my eyes glaze over but might be of interest to Apple Watch wearers
