Ah, ^This^ sounds just as nice — thanks for pointing it out! I’ll hold off on breaking out my Lionel Richie songs for another time; maybe push for sometime in the Spring/Summer and post in General Discussion of WABF?

Well then, I’ll throw this JPG file out there to get the discussion going. If interest sways the event in the direction of previous years then it’s all good. Otherwise, I’m open to suggestions on how to improve the attached V1. I’m a Springfielder so this route is a little Fairfax-heavy.

Oh man, good point. So if someone did the All-Nighter on Fri/Sat they might be toast for Sunday’s VASA ride. This is my first year doing FS, so I don’t know if a lot of riders do VASA to cap off their particiaption in BAFS…if so, perhaps a long Saturday morning ride along this (or some other route) may be better? Either that or bump to Spring/Summer?

The FSLNHPP is definitely on. It is on the Freezing Saddles calendar.

I’ll start a thread; more info will likely wait until March.

That does not preclude people from starting earlier, though. If you want to start your ride Friday night and end Sunday at midnight, go for it.

In fact, a Friday night ride might be fine, too. There are certainly plenty of people who could do one ride or the other and a hardy few who might do them all. I would never discourage anyone from organizing a bike ride.

It is entirely coincidental that the VASA ride falls on the last day of FS this year. Last year it was after FS ended and the year before it was on March 15.

Yeah, jumps around a lot. I’m conflicted over riding VASA this year because I had super secret last day riding plans.
