The Post seems to be describing a totally different event. The Post says a cyclist was shoved into a fence and threatened; his cell fell out of his pocket and was taken. The reddit guy says he was out for a run, was passed by a bunch of kids on bikes, one of whom slapped him. He started to run after them, but stopped and turned around. A different kid asked why he was running after them, and things escalated to a swarm of kids punching him in the face, and one taking his cell phone out of his pocket.
