Anacostia Drive will be closed from Good Hope Road north to the Anacostia Field House/Swimming Pool Mondays through Fridays starting at 6:00 a.m. on Monday March 4, 2013, through Fridays at 4:00 p.m. for a period of 6 to 8 weeks.

Damn, I knew there was more than 1 of us Chris’s, but more than 1 Chris R? Sheesh!

Road is still closed, however they’re making progress. They graded the surface off yesterday including the very western stretch of Good Hope Rd. That section has a thin strip of new asphalt on it already.

Hopefully soon they’ll repave it and it will be better than it ever was.
