Team 7 captains are the best!!
And, sorry to see that you were a captain. No being on the same team.

Chuck sent out the team numbers and El Capitains on the forum. No name decided yet though, as I like how in years past this was a democratic process.

What’s the thread called? I can’t find it anywhere. And I’m a team captain!

Not a thread, it was via email. You’re captain of Team 17. You should probably make sure Chuck has your correct email.

Here is a link to the thread with the list of team captains, and what team each is captain of.

Awww, thanks Alan. We’ll just have to plan some infiltration events. As a former Merrylander, I’m all for interstate shenanigans!

Thanks Jon. He does, and I got it, thanks. I just thought it was here because of something Jessica said. [emoji16]

Not going to be a team 7 if someone doesn’t make a Strava club and get me the ID….

Hello Team 7! A few orders of business:

    1) Please join the Strava Club
    https://www.strava.com/clubs/fs2020team7

    2) Nominate a team name for a team vote.

    3) Introduce yourself and maybe even upload a picture of your ride!

Thank you, all. First official team ride will be this Saturday morning 1/18/2020 if you’d like to attend. Details forthcoming!

    Warmly,

    Sarah Bee

    (1) I joined our Strava Group, and saw 3 others before me (yeah!)
    (2) can’t think of a name right now but will mull that over between now and our Saturday ride, and
    (3) have plenty of pics of my bicycles posted already on the forum, especially under #FS2020ParkFinder, so here’s a #dangerpanda selfie instead…

I am a streak rider due to frequent work travels abroad (sans bikes, or even roads for that matter). But I’m a solid middle of the pack point generator for the past few FS seasons, and have been participating since FS2014.

Strava says that I logged a tad over 5000 miles in 2019. I believe that I contributed 800+ points in FS2019 and 900+ in FS2018 and 700-ish in 2017 when my team won!:) under the old sleaze mile scoring system. My moment of glory though was in FS2015 when I finished 10th overall on the miles Leaderboard, in an epic victory over my arch nemesis @PowefulPete. This year’s scoring system should generate much higher scores than in past years, and will favor those who ride 9+ miles/day. So I look forward to riding with you at least 9 miles in search of chocolate, tacos, coffee, beer, parks and/or socks.

    Ride on!

Disclosure: I am sponsoring the #FS2020cholocateuring pointless prize (leaderboard currently in construction w/ the FS techie crew)

How about we discuss our Team’s name over a ride this Saturday to the vintage mobile “get cozy” Prosecco & craft beer mini-van at Bubbles & Brews in Leesburg VA? It is conveniently located near the W&OD (which offers multiple #coffeeride #tacoloco #chocolateuring and #parkfinder pointless prize opportunities along the way), and will give us all at least 9 miles to maximize our team scoring for the day.
