    I just received an update on the Alexandria light giveaway:

    Date: Wednesday, November 2
    Time: 4:30-8:30 pm
    Location: Braddock Road Metro station

    Good news from this evening: we gave out all of the bike lights to fellow cyclists! I do not have a final count, but upon my departure, we had given the last bike light away. I moved over to the intersection of the Potomac Yard Trail and Braddock Rd to get trail-users to come over, and I think it helped. Thank you to the city of Alexandria and GO Alex for doing this; there will be more cyclists in Alexandria with lights as a result :)
