Nice meeting everybody there! I’d only met Arlingtonrider before. That was fun. I hope we do it again soon, even if it’s through a thread called “About this goddamn thing called Summer”.

The after-ride was nice, too. Cracking pace. Motorpaced by the NPS maintenance truck to start, and then I think we got all the way up to 11 mph or so somewhere around 20th Street coming back down Constitution. That was a hard ride.

Sorry I missed most of it. Coming from Bethesda, the timing is hard to predict. And today I got caught in a crowd of tourists on the Mall, and must have arrived at the Smithsonian CaBi just after you guys left. And by the time I figured out where you’d gone and arrived there, you were just leaving.
