While noodling around on the 4th I had some extra time to kill and did a fast pass or two across Memorial bridge for giggles. Having ridden over it a few times in the past I was surprised to not see it come up as a PR on a Strava segment. I figured it was not yet a segment but found that the bridge has a few already. They were in the hidden segments portion of my ride. Even when unhidden there is no mention of a PR or (to my surprise) it being a top 10 as well. It does not look like someone flagged it as you can see times of other riders.

What am I missing? This is the segment in in question. http://app.strava.com/activities/64673280#1228812698

BTW what makes a segment hidden rather than just another segment?

Yeah, but my speed shown there was held for 20 minutes, not just one lap. Check out the average: http://app.strava.com/activities/38271429

I think I should go back to see how fast I can just done one lap in!

I dunno, your strava suffer score is only 28 for that ride :p

Sounds about right for properly calibrated zones during a FTP test.

Adjust the HR zones and now I’m getting normal results.
