This times 1000. Sooooo many people, including cyclists, think that bikes need to ride on the shoulder if there is one, which is definitely not the case. I mean, if there’s a nice wide shoulder, I’ll take it if I’m riding on a busy highway or something, but under normal circumstances I make a conscious effort to stay left of the fog line because that’s where the road starts.
