Which 6th Street, NW or NW? I cannot get the study maps to load.

Northwest. The options are 9th, 6th, and couplet of 5th and 6th. From Constitution to Florida, essentially the East End of downtown and Shaw.

Note alt 2 will likely impact church parking.

Then why are we even discussing it? No one in DC is willing to spend the political capital to fight a church.

There will still be parking, but it would go from diagonal to regular parallel (so protecting the bike lane) thus a net loss spaces. Perhaps DDOT had already planned on getting rid of diagonal spots on 6th anyway? I am not sure.

DDOT should get rid of all diagonal parking in the city.

Look at M St NW. That was a huge project for DDOT and they folded when a church full of Marylanders threw a fit. I can’t believe this project will be any different.
