Looks like the Bollard Busters are in on this one, too. If any Snot Rockets are still up for this as a group thing, we could join forces and ride with them. I’ll probably roll with Rockford anyway, so she and I can be the inter-team ambassadors, despite her trash-talking me on this very thread merely a few posts back.

So, for Pedals and Pints we appear to be doing a combined ride with our arch-nemeses on Team 4. You can ride to the event with a caravan from the Bluemont Caboose on the W&OD (wheels rolling at 10:00), or meet at the event.

You’re all also welcome on the Kidical Mass Arlington ride this Sunday. Meet 4pm at Pentagon Row Starbucks. The ride itself is short (3 miles), but if you ride there and back, you get not-insignificant miles. Plus, it’s super fun. kidicalmassarl.blogspot.com

if i can make it i’ll be coming from another training ride, so I’ll have a few snot rockets saved up to ward off any of those on the insipid Team 4 riders. (or, i’ll just try and be friendly and remember this is all for fun!)

really hoping i can make it, but my route/milage/time for saturday prior to the P&P ride is TBD.

OK, it seems that there is a general acceptance of “Snot Rockets” for our team name. Unless I hear any objections by midnight tonight, Team 5 will henceforth be known as Team Snot Rockets. I will change the team name on Strava and try to find an appropriate avatar to go with it. Note that anyone who objects to this proposed team name will then become responsible for finding another name and building some kind of consensus. Nothing in life is free.
