alright folks – despite a few days of non-cycling, I’m back in the saddle. sorry ’bout the furlough, but life got in the way. we got some miles to put in to retake #3.

Welcome back. We need you to hammer us past the Doozy Dozers, who are ahead of us by 221 points, even though we have ridden 54 miles than they have (but they have more rider days than we do, which explains the difference). Can Harry’s return motivate everyone on our team commit to at least a mile a day for this week?

and to give a little update on my four-legged furry friend: he’s a 13 year old border collie mix named Petie. When I call him a puppy, it’s only because he still thinks and acts like he’s 2 yrs old…

anyhow, unfortunately he’s likely got liver cancer and form of heart disease. fluid had been building up in his chest and abdomen and giving him trouble breathing over the last couple weeks, and the vet had originally thought it was kennel cough. After an x-ray and an ultrasound showed a moderate amount of fluid build up, the vet drained the fluid and he seems to be doing a lot better. he’s a tough little dude!

    Glad he’s doing better.

BTW, you probably want to head over to the Strava Team discussion in the next, say, 90 minutes or so.

You haven’t seen the half of it! You should join us next time. It was a BEAUTIFUL day for a ride.

Yeah I can’t wait to get back out there today. DC lunch rides are not possible for me though because I work in Ballston.

Just posted 16 more European flags captured — all with 4 teammates in the picture, so they should be harder to capture back.

    :-)

Thanks to Dasgeh for setting it up!

Actually, I think you should probably stay off the bike for a while. It’s obviously being caused by riding in the cold weather. For your health, you should really take it easy.

Dasgeh, and her lime green, kidical friendly, electric, cargo bike, prior to raiding flags from half of Asia earlier today.
