ParticipantNo University Terrace this year. It must have finally killed somebody last year.

Also not sad to avoid the L’Enfant/Case Bridge Curb Hop and Zig-Zag of Temporary Peril this year.

Did WABA send something out today about the routes? I’m registered but haven’t received anything from them other than my receipt a few weeks ago.
Update: Found it in my spam folder. Thanks for the tip!

Yep, but as usual, it went into my Gmail’s “promotions” folder rather than my primary inbox.

ParticipantI think they just sent the route to the ride marshals.

ParticipantThe email that I received also went to my gmail promotions folder. The email included a Map My Ride link and a request not to distribute the route. Printed cues sheets and clips will be available at registration.

ParticipantThat was a long ride, my voice was hoarse from all the talking.

ParticipantI want to give a shout out to John, one of the marshals, whom Rockford10 and I had the pleasure of riding with for the entire last half of the ride. I didn’t even get his last name, but for a while it was just the three of us riding through rain and more rain; then we passed in and out of other groups together; we got separated a couple of times and got back together; ultimately, he pretty much stuck with the two of us for 30 miles, and not only did all the navigating, but really looked after us for all those miles. His efforts are a big part of why we had such a good ride. I caught a glimpse of him at the end-of-ride happy hour, but didn’t have a chance to buy him a beer or express my gratitude. So, THANKS, JOHN!!!

We had friends in town this weekend, so I wasn’t able to join the ride. But while out running errands around the Hill (picking up a couple of 1/6 kegs from my beer guy in the car) I saw you guys around 15th and K SE. I hope it was a great ride!

ParticipantThat rain sure was crummy; seemed like a lot of no shows. Did anyone else see the female rider down and not moving on Beach Drive in RCP? It was about 1:00 or 1:30. My group slowed enough to see that enough people were already stopped, one of them was a doctor, and EMTs were on the way. Anyone know what happened. Hope the rider is OK.

ParticipantThe EMTs were there when I went by and the lady was talking. No other information to impart.
