    haven’t tried it myself, but all the language on the website leans towards 24 hours

    You can take a bike as many times as you’d like for 24 hours

    It appears that way, since they chose to call it a 24-hour membership and not a one-day membership. But I’m an annual member, so I can’t confirm details about the short-term memberships.

    For a quicker official response, I’d suggest that you post on their Facebook pages, although I’m not sure if staff will be checking the pages today and tomorrow.

    The 24 price covers a period of 24 hours from when you pay. Before I got my current annual CaBi membership, I had used both CaBi and Citibike for 24-hour rentals. If you pay at 2 pm tomorrow (Thursday), then the rental period will last until 2 pm on Friday.

    (Added) I should also mention: your card will have an additional ~$101 (for Citibike, I don’t know the amount for CaBi) hold on it that will not be lifted until a couple of days after the rental period is over, so be cogniscant of that if you are using a debit card.
