Well, except for the Sharknado casualty. But that was on the Syfy Channel. (And it was fictional, except in the view of certain people.)

Of course, it wouldn’t be a mainstream story without some inaccurate details about bikes, such as the oft-cited study about bikeshare safety. (The study actually found that rates of all types of injuries decreased but somehow, this continues to be reported as an increase in injuries, merely because non-head injuries decreased more than head injuries did. Rates of both types of injuries decreased, so why is this a bad thing?)
