    The Phoenix Bikes Makers Ball registration and volunteer sign up is now available. This is a fun event every year with food, drinks and a great silent auction. Lots of forum folks volunteered last year. From the e-mail I got from the volunteer coordinator:

    I would like to inform all that our SignUpGenius page for our Makers’ Ball is live. If you are interested in volunteering for this event please sign up for a time slot, here. If you didn’t volunteer or attend our last year’s Markers Ball, here is some info about this event.

    When: Wednesday, April 25th, 6:30-9:00pm

    Where: 2100 Crystal Drive, Arlington VA 22204 (down the hall from We the Pizza)

    What: Phoenix Bikes Makers’ Ball will be held the evening of Thursday, April 25th, 2019 in Crystal City. Help us to “Celebrate Creativity, Bicycles and Beyond” by volunteering to support the event. Before/after your shift, you are welcome to enjoy music, food, drinks, a silent auction of art and other made items, and a display of bicycles refurbished by our youth program participants. All proceeds from the event benefit the youth programs at Phoenix Bikes. More info HERE!

    -Complimentary food & drink

    -Music & dancing

    -Photo booth

    -Goldsprints

    -Backwards bike challenge

    Dress: festive, complimentary bike tube corsages/boutonnieres & bow ties provided

    Tickets: $50/ticket for a single ticket or $45/ticket if purchasing two or more | $65/ticket at the door | $100 VIP (access to pre-event reception and auction preview)

    You’ll also have the opportunity to bid on some very nice pottery pieces donated by the forum’s very own LSG.

    This is the sweet vase that LSG made me. Hopefully he’ll post some pictures of what he donated as well as some of his other work which are beautiful pieces of art.

    Thanks Judd! Dress is “bicycle chic”! The BA Forum community has always been such an amazing supporter of Phoenix Bikes. We’re going to have a great event this year! Looking forward to seeing everyone!!
