Registration is open for the 2019 Croatan Buck Fifty!

This race was a BLAST last year, and I am hoping we can get an even bigger group from DC down to race this. Great venue, awesome course (although, it is a bit flat, but definitely not boring), amazing swag, and just a great all around vibe. Plus, who could turn down a weekend at the beach in March?! 😎

Thanks to some peer pressure by Samantha, I just registered for the 100, with the assumption that after 50 if I’m tired I’ll call it a day. I’ll need to do some more gravel training rides this winter to prep.

Well, I bought a bike that could work.
Then I got a job, so I have the money.
Then I checked my daughter’s spring break schedule, and she reminded me she’s going to the Dominican.

So I have run out of excuses.

I’ll be riding the titanium racing machine which currently has tubeless 32s on them which will be toast by March. What should I put on for Croatan?

Also, Robyne stole one of your routes for yesterday’s ride. It was really pretty.
