ParticipantVolunteers are needed for the Arlington Fun Ride on October 5th. Many positions are needed from registration, pit stop support, marshals and even a few costumed characters on the trail (don’t miss your opportunity to be the Trollheim Troll)

ParticipantI’m unfortunately going to be out of town the weekend of the Fun Ride for a family wedding. If somebody else wants the bike-mount bubble machine for the Fun Ride, I’m happy to hook you up.

ParticipantLots of volunteers are needed for the Arlington Fun Ride on October 5th. There’s currently only 1 volunteer signed up. (Thanks Casey Kane!) We have 74 registrants so far and we’re expecting at least 150 fun riders. There’s lots of different opportunities available.

ParticipantThe Arlington Fun Ride is up to 121 participants. We still need A LOT of volunteer help.
LSG – This is your chance to volunteer as the Trollheim Troll… (Yes, this is an actual volunteer role this year)

Thank you so much for signing up and volunteering Frank.
Also thanks to Leo, Chris Randall, Steve O, Casey Kane and Starduster for signing up to volunteer, especially those who signed up for multiple slots. Phoenix sent out an emergency call for volunteers today. There currently is only one volunteer for the Rosslyn pit stop and no volunteers for the Crystal City pit stop.
Sign up is here:

ParticipantJoined the 5:30am setup team. Will we get a guidance/instruction email (who to meet with upon arrival, etc) prior to that morning, or just show up at the plaza and find someone official-looking? -C

I will send an email with instructions prior. But given that we are dealing with up to 3 detours, you may need to do some improvising. I’ll be preriding sections throughout the week, so hopefully there won’t be (m)any surprises.
Everyone else, if you can help, please note we have over 75 families signed up, which is great, but primarily need help keeping them on the Loop.
Here’s the volunteer signup link again.

There’s still two volunteer slots at Crystal City if someone wants to keep Ken company. Thank you for signing up Ken!

Not anymore! Frank and I got moved to Crystal City since the University is staffing Ballston. So even though the sign up genius shows space in Ballston, don’t sign up there.
