Hey, it could be worse. My first Freezing Saddles, I went to the last night Hains Point party. I explained to my wife that I was going to meet a bunch of guys I’d never met in real life, in a park with no one else around, after dark. What could possibly go wrong? I seem to recall she rolled her eyes at me. A lot.

I’m confused. I don’t see a registration from you. And unfortunately, with the exception of people who have participated in past years, the competition is only open to those who live in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Nope, there are still about 25 spots. But teams won’t be assigned until January, and I have no idea whether there will be one specific to that area, or whether you’d be assigned to a more broad based one.
