ParticipantIf your looking for ideas I was thinking about my brief time in Deutschland. I had pretty much unlimited access to free Bellheimer Bier (http://www.bellheimer.de). Long story, including my appearance on the TV show Nur die Liebe zählt. My favorite was their Dunkel Weizen but I don’t see it on their list now.
I was there before this:
5. Dezember 1995
Fusion der Unternehmen Parkbrauerei AG und der Bellheimer Privatbrauerei K. Silbernagel AG und der Bellheimer Mineralquellen GmbH. Es entsteht die Park & Bellheimer AG.
They were in negotiations then, which was very stressful for the employees of such an old private brewery. So the products have likely changed, but you might find one of their offerings that looks worth trying.

ParticipantWell, I finished off BAFS 2017 with a non-German beer, Krušovice Cerne, a dark Czech beer since I was having dinner at Klein Praga in Diez after an afternoon ride to Limburg and Hünfelden.

ParticipantI’m all caught up. All German beers were drank during Freezing Saddles. I think I spent about $150-$200 along the way, but it was worth every penny. I got to try lots of beers and styles that I hadn’t tried before.

Well, you will receive a German beer related prize for outstripping all the competition. Will you be at Hump Day Coffee Club at Best Buns on April 12?

I’ll be there on the 12th. I’ll wear my BAFS plate which included “betrunken kerl” on it, which LeprosyStudyGroup assured me means really good things in German.
