    Saturday’s ride was combined with a walking tour of Bad Homburg. I rode out and back on the Rove while my wife took the U2 as far as Gozenheim where we met up and walked into town.

    The English language version of the Bad Homburg walking tours guide says, “… a monument to the Jewish citizens who lost their lives during the Third Reich.” The Wikipedia entry cites Germania Judaica, “Of the 74 Jews who remained on 17 May 1939, 42 were deported in 1942/1943.”

    Well, while y’all are battling snow, spring seems to have sprung in Frankfurt, actually in the Kurpark, Bad Homburg.

    No snow here today (at least blow 2500 feet). However, this parking lot was a solid sheet of ice when I rode here on 2/2.
