After a week of sunny (but cold) weather we were back to dismal and cold today.

Another day to ride to the Main/Nidda confluence, this time via the south bank of the Main crossing back over at Höchst.

I don’t know when they turned this fountain off at the Palmengarten, but it made a nice ice mound before they did.

FFM to Mainz to Stockstadt and home.

A pedestrian/cyclist bridge south of Mainz over a road and railroad track. I don’t recommend this for the Lee Highway/W&OD crossing at east Falls Church.

KayakCyndi wants me to explore gravel, so I blame her for me running into so many stretches of packed snow/ice on these gravel and dirt forest roads.

Not a lot is open on Sundays and this McDonalds was there at the right time for lunch in Egelsbach at mile 56. The other bikes in the rack were from a group of mature ladies who were going in as I was leaving, and that rack is useless.

The Offenbach version of the Monolith bike counter.

Yesterday I rode the Dinosaurs and Doughnuts interteam ride lead by Shardg, and this was my fav pic I took:

Today, I rode with some friends at Black Hills park in Germantown, and we sessioned getting over a log. This is definitively how to not get a lot of mileage ;)

It’s practice for when we go into the city and have to get over cars :D

    Here’s the moving pictures version:

Wow, I didn’t know it was possible to ride over such a large tree. Such skillz could come in handy in the city!

I want to put an end to this right now: my forum name is drev-il (“drivel” with vowels transposed). I’m not smart enough to be a Dr, and I’m not so evil either :) It was a name I picked for another bike forum 20 years ago and stuck with for ease.

As for hopping, I’m ok. You should see jabberwocky for real skillz. Thanks though!

But would someone who was really evil admit it?
